Ferrellgas Partners' flame is burning brightly as the second-largest US retail marketer of propane, behind AmeriGas. The company sells propane to 1 million industrial, commercial, and agricultural customers in all 50 states. It operates 49.6 million gallons of propane storage capacity, more than 50 service centers and 855 retail distribution locations, and its delivery fleet includes more than 3,000 trucks, tank cars, and trailers. Its Blue Rhino unit operates a propane cylinder-exchange business across the US. Ferrellgas trades propane and natural gas, markets wholesale propane, provides liquid natural gas storage, and markets chemical feedstock. It also has an oil and gas midstream business.
